The East Devon Coast from Exmouth to Dorset has been officially ranked alongside the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon as one of the natural wonders of the world. The coast provides a walk through time of 185 million years of the earth's history and stretches from Orcombe Point at Exmouth in Devon to Dorset.

 

Exmouth in Bloom 2007

Exmouth Town Council is delighted that Exmouth won the St Bridgette Cup this year and a gold award in the South West in Bloom in Exmouth. At this level of the competition this is the best award that can be achieved in its class and is a mighty achievement for all concerned.   Exmouth in Bloom, East Devon District Council and Exmouth Town Council can be proud of the their achievements this year making Exmouth a winner.

 

In 2005 Exmouth has at last won 1st place in the large towns category of the Exmouth in Bloom Competition for the South West Region.

Glorious Chorus, the aptly named 40 strong a-cappella choir led by Helen Yeomans goes from strength to strength.

 

30 May Imperial Recreation Ground
Joey the Lips

Billed as the Nations funkiest 10 piece sole band you will be up and dancing before you know it. The venue will be the Imperial Recreation Ground. Come early at 6pm, bring your collapsible chairs and a picnic and live the life of Riley on your own doorstep. There is a reasonable charge of £6 in advance or £8 on the gate – where else can you get such value?
