What
is Town Management

I
will be responsible for developing
a Business Plan and annual action
plans for town management together
with these partners. We all want
Exmouth to thrive as an interesting,
safe and attractive place to visit
for shopping, entertainment and
leisure. The Business Plan will
provide strategic direction to
ensure that public and private
resources are co-ordinated for
the overall good of Exmouth. The
Town Council and Chambers of Commerce
have established a Town Management
Working Party which has identified
key objectives for Exmouth. These
will be developed over time once
the "Exmouth Town Management Partnership"
is formed.

Improve the physical environment

Engender a sense of pride in all
users of the town centre

Extend the range of shops and
broaden the retail mix

Develop a dynamic atmosphere where
things happen

Provide marketing for the Town
as a whole

Improve the experience of visitors

Provide a standard of customer
care throughout the centre

Improve public safety and reduce
the fear of crime

Build a stronger culture of partnership
