The Great Exmouth OO Model Railway

Exmouth Seafront

Open daily from 10.30 am Easter until 1 Nov.

We are ready for all weather being the only indoor attraction on Exmouth's sea front

It took over 14 years to build and is constantly updated. Whether super enthusiast or casual observer you cannot fail to be fascinated.

Rain or shine. We also have a great souvenir shop.

Did you know that Exmouth is the home to The World`s Largest OO gauge Scenic Model Railway?

We are now even cheaper than two years ago, so come and see the British Countryside in miniature with 20 trains weaving their way through 115 scale miles of varied landscape; the villages, towns, stations, traffic, people and even birds in the trees-all authentic to the last meticulous detail. There is a touch of nostalgia in the traditional livery of the different regions in the bygone age of steam, running along side modern diesel locomotives.

The rolling stock comes in all shapes and sizes including box wagons, different types of tankers, open bolster wagons, coal wagons, even whisky wagons. All the locomotives and rolling stock feature British Railways past and present and so children have a chance to see some of the famous trains of the past - as well as the latest diesels.

See the trains also in the outdoor area, and the new lovely entrance just like a country railway station and a new super souvenir shop.

We are right on the seafront

after the inshore Life boat and the children's play area. Parking after the inshore lifeboat station, near the small road to the cricket ground. We are behind the Queens Drive Car Park.
