Orcombe Point is Rodney Beach (about
1929)

Orcombe Point. Exmouth Devon.
Lovely old postcard posted in 1929.
The man in the middle must have seen the big camera
and maybe urges the boy to keep back.
A lady in white shelters in the shadow of the cliff,
other clothes there suggest people bathing.
Exmouth is to the left, still looking mainly the same.
Of course now there is the road.
Orcombe Point is on the right. Just to the left of the
6 people is a Refreshment cafe/hut/building.
A hut was still in place there until the 1970's.
