Exmouth History > The parade, 1911

Exmouth Parade 1911
The Parade looking towards the Railway Station end (view towards The Strand), back in 1911. Shopping on both sides, (on the left is now the Magnolia shopping Centre built in 1977, on the right is now Woolworth's and other shops). The steps on the right are still there but they have changed over the years. This is also one of the main roads in the town centre so it has a lot more traffic now. More text coming (anyone any info to share please).

A very special thanks for the old picture above copyright © to the late George Pridmore and is not to be used for any other purpose, but George has some books that are in print and are available in Bookstores. More info on George's Books send s.a.e. to: Obelisk Publications, 2 Church Hill, Pinhoe, Exeter, Devon.
