promenade is two miles long and still has old
favourites such as swing boats and crazy golf.
The walk from the Marina to Orcombe Point is
level and has wonderful views towards Dawlish
and Torbay, there are plenty of cafes and 3
public Houses, plus and The Pavillion each with
food along the front to stop and relax awhile.
Sandy
beaches for the family to swim and play, it
has many activities and lovely cliff walks.

Entertainment
on the Seafront include The Pavilion, with live
shows, entertainments, Dances. It also
has a Bar and food is available.
The
Elizabeth Hall has many Events. The Esplanade
runs the full length of the 2-mile sea front
from the busy docks & Harbour to the local
beauty spot at Orcombe Point.

Also known as Madeira Walk. Starts below the
Beacon (next to the Tourist information Office),
it is a lovely shaded walk amongst trees and
bushes and flowers that extends behind the sea
front towards the Cliffs. |

with the tide almost in August. Note,
STEPS to the Beach are are broken: Visible
is the top of the Wooden hand rails at the second
set of steps leading to Sandy Bay. Rodney Point
beach is accessible from these steps only at
low tide. The other steps to the are
in the bushes towards foxholes direction.
NOTE: There isn't a ladder at the bottom part,
but at high tide you cant access the beach going
to Sandy Bay. Dogs are allowed here all year
round.

Blue Plaque
Trail
commemorates
the town’s famous former residents, homes and
other historic locations.

Sept. 2005, A huge Flower
bed depicts the wines of the Loire Valley.
A carpet of 95,000 plants. Plants from a Cornish
nursery have been used to transform Trafalgar
Square for 24 hours before been taken to Exmouth
to be displayed for six weeks.
