Up the River Exe is the beautiful village of Topsham. Between Exmouth and Exeter
By Boat, train or car and Bus this nice village is well worth visiting, take a boat trip, look round or simply relax, many excellent places to eat or have a drink.

Topsham is near the top of this photo, (on the right hand side) Lympstone in the middle, Exmouth at the bottom. Exmouth is only 25 minutes away from Exeter by train with great views of the Exe Estuary, internationally renowned for its wildlife. The train stops at Topsham

Exmouth Local Nature Reserve covers a large part of the Exe Estuary and is an excellent accessible site for bird watching.
The avocet a magnificent looking wading bird that visits the Exe.

Train links to Exmouth: Local service to Exmouth along the river with great views. (25 minute journey). This is an important link for Exmouth and villages to Exeter, please support it, it also saves trying to park in Exeter on a day trip from Exmouth, fantastic views of the Exe Estuary Great views at sunset.

Train to Exmouth, River Exe views. The Avocet Line, The name derives from the bird which overwinters on the internationally-important Exe Estuary site.
