Woodbury Common

The view to the coast from Woodbury Common. It is is huge, a beautiful moorland and is ideal for walks, riding and picnics. Spectacular views. The East Devon Way is a walkers inland route from the Exe to the Lyn.

Woodbury Common and its many walks, super for riding and pony trekking. Woodbury Common is a huge area of moor, trees & bushes, With some distant Sea & River views.

The common is also the home of "Woodbury Park Golf and Country Club" a golf Club.

Exmouth Local Nature Reserve covers a large part of the Exe Estuary and is an excellent accessible site for bird watching.
The avocet a magnificent looking wading bird that visits the Exe.

The walk to Lympstone along the River Exe from Exmouth to Lympstone

Events and entertainment's, music, good restaurants and accommodation of all kinds. In the centre of East Devon's glorious countryside. See the local area map with directions & train links to Exmouth.

With many beautiful towns and villages nearby, including on the River Exe, Lympstone (The Redwing Inn see web page with Music events), with its lovely garden to the rear.) Exton and the larger town of Topsham.

5 miles east of Exmouth is the lovely quiet coastal town is Budleigh Salterton with The East Devon Golf Club on the cliffs by some of the best views across the bay.
