See the lovely flower displays in The Manor Gardens, in April. The gardens are after the Town Hall on the way to the sea front, below the roundabout with the fountain. Leading off to the Seafront or Madeira Walk (also Seafront,) coming out near The Elizabeth Hall. 140k

360"° view: from the cliffs

170k. View from the Cliffs at Orcombe Point with the tide almost in August. Note, STEPS to the Beach are are broken: Visible is the top of the Wooden hand rails at the second set of steps leading to Sandy Bay. Rodney Point beach is accessible from these steps only at low tide (that's the small beach after Orcombe Point Point in the photo above). The other steps to the (beach visible here) are in the bushes towards foxholes direction. NOTE: These are easier as there isn't a ladder at the bottom part, but at high tide you cant access the beach going to Sandy Bay. Dogs are allowed here all year round.

The Gardens above the seafront, near the roundabout on The Esplanade going up Carlton Hill, Seconds away from Louisa Terrace. Exmouth Seafront from above. The split level garden at the corner of The Esplanade going up Carlton Hill. With the Pavilion, Beach. October

360"° view: The Mear, an open space, & BBQ area and seafront
The Maer, a large open space, in-between Madeira walk and The Esplanade / beach. It is an open grass area "The Mear" it starts after the Childrens playing area next to The Exmouth Cricket Club. in the direction of the Cliffs. From here it is possible to walk upwards on the path to the cliffs at Orcombe Point or head straight to the sea. September

The Strand Gardens with its trees and flower displays. Its very nice to sit a while in summer, a midday break away from the heat of the beach, a good meeting spot being in the centre of town. Here are shops, banks, the Cinema, Restaurants and food outlets also the Indoor Market. Exmouth is well known for it's beautiful flower displays in summer. July 2001. 110k

360° view: The Parade, Exeter Road, Albion St. & Magnolia Centre shops
140k Sep. 2002, PLEASE NOTE a couple of Shops are different. (THE FORMER HILL HOUSE HAMOND, IN BLUE IS NOW A BAKERS SHOP, AND CAFE UNO IS WHERE THE 2 PILLARED BUILDING IS. (NEW VERSION COMING). The area has many excellent shops cafe's and Businesses. Here is the view from the Exeter Road end, by the Magnolia Shopping Centre with its flower displays in summer. Its a good shopping area in the centre of town. Here are shops, food outlets and Restaurants.

The Magnolia Centre, an excellent pedestrianised area is ideal for the family away from traffic. Stroll around the many excellent shops. With it's beautiful flower displays in summer. Boots and (WH) Smiths are on the right hand side with many other fine shops and the main Post Office. Tempus jewellers and other shops, hairdressers on Albion St.
